Ras Al Khaimah, May 31: H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Saud Al Qasimi, son of H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, attended the graduation ceremony held at the Ras Al Khaimah English Speaking School (RAKESS) for the graduating class of 2010 here Sunday evening.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Saud presented certificates to as many as 35 graduating students belonging to the International Baccalaureate (IB), AS and A2 programmes at the ceremony.
Sheikh Abdullah bin Humaid bin Abdullah Al Qasimi, Office Manager of Ras Al Khaimah Crown Prince and a number of dignitaries along with teachers, students and parents attended the function.
In her introductory speech, Principal of RAKESS, Jacquie Watson thanked H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, and H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Saud Al Qasimi for their continued support to the school.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Saud also presented the Creativity, Action and Service Award to Ananya Huria and the Highest Achievement Award to Hamza Riaz, both belonging to the IB programme, at the function.
Various musical programmes were staged by students at the function.
